>After applying the published .ESL patch for fpw26, an initial CLOSE/IGNORE? error that was appearing at application startup on a fast (300-400mhz) CPU Win98 went away. However, a NOT ENOUGH MEMORY problem with an application screen using EDIT display boxes came up. I modified the screen to use regular SHOW objects instead. That tested ok on my 233 mhz Win95 development environment, but (inconsistently) generates a mysterious error message entitled "WATCOM win386".

Hi Howie,
If I had to guess, I'd say you were probably on a Novell network. My old FPW apps get this every once in awhile. Usually, the only solution is to re-boot and try again.
