I don't have any documentation, but it is pretty straght forward:

1.Drop the component onto your form
2.Change the FileName Property to your avi
3.rightmouseclick on the control and pick the active movie properties on the bottom of the menu
4.right mouse click on the control again and choose properties on the popup menu again.
5.select auto repeat on the first tab
6.on the Controls Tab DE-select display panel AND control panel

That should be it. Right before your scan call, thisform.movie.run, and after your scan, thisform.movie.stop
