>I have just completed the install of Visual Foxpro 6.0. During the install, the system found an installed version of Foxpro 2.6 for windows . The resource file and default directory were taken from that product and placed in the files location for those files in the options tab. I have repeatedly changed them to the desired settings, but every time I come back into Visual Foxpro the settings have returned back to the installed default directory and old resource file name. Also the size and location of the command window is not saved like it was in previous foxpro editions. Do I need to write a prgram that runs on program load to set a new resource files and default location. I thought that was the function of the CONFIG.FX file.

Did you click "set as default" after modification.
