Your logon page does not have to be an .asp page, it can be an html page. Just make sure your logon page contains an html form and post the form to an .asp page. Once you post the form to an .asp page, the form variables will be available from server side .asp script using the following code: Request.Form("Userid") and Request.Form("Password").
