What a cool idea! I also have seen people here saying that they get an error message when trying to do a tableupdate when they are updating many fields. I have seen people reccomend using keyfields only, instead of key and updated fields, but I have never seen anyone reccomend sys(3055). Wierd.

Also, maybe your function could be tied into sys(3054) or sys(3054) could be tied into a new command?

>When setting up complex updateable views, it woud be helpful to be able to see the SQL that VFP constructs and uses when building a query for REQUERY and TABLEUPDATE. I know that this SQL exists, because freaky occurences have put the strings in my AERRROR() fields before and showed up in my error log.
