I routinely issue the following commands when I want to close everything:

cancel
close all
clear all
release all

If necessary, you might have to issue a seperate clear events.

>the user closes the form by filling in text box and hitting enter. closeable property is set to false in the form properties. its just when testing & debugging that the problem arises(cant close form). i was not sure if their was a command that could be run from the command line that would close the form instead of me quitting vfp6 and restarting it.
