Dan is quite right. Before tableupdate you cannot see the records in "used again" table. That's like another computer has opened the table. You could set buffering on it too. But data in buffer would belong to each table itself. Also this is the case with SQL. When you perform an SQL on your first buffered table data comes from "on-disk" data.
