Although inserting the dummy node to get the "+" sign is pretty much standard practice, I'm not sure why you are removing the real children when collapsing the node. Why are you doing this? This sounds like extra work. If you don't remove the child nodes, your hard-core rapid-clicking QA test won't have anything to fail on.

>With Microsoft Treeview control I am trying to add 50 (say) child nodes for a certain node in the expand event of that node and in the Collapse event I am removing all these nodes and adding a temporary node to display the plus sign beside that node. If I expand and collapse that node very quickly for about 5 or 6 times at one stage it is displaying only the temporary node which I have added in the collapse event. It is not firing the expand event where we add our original nodes.How can I solve this problem?
