I added that topic in the list. The reason: because it was mentioned a few occasions here that it would be nice to discuss actual and upcoming wish for upcoming version during a conference.

The 7 was added there because it was my lucky number.

As for the other topics, I also added them. Some people were complaining that we didn't have a topic at every conference. So, I added at least 4 for now so at least people can focus on those 4 plus any other they might want to discuss. Why those 4: because, they are actual subject being discussed recently.

No, we don't have any purpose of eliminating the possibility of posting a wish in the messages section. We have the Chatter category for that and it fits well there.
