>Hi everybody,
>I have a few questions about the Codebook 3 framework. I have just started to use VFP 5.0, and my question is: Will the framework work in VFP 50 as it is?
>If not, what must or should be modified to use it, and is worth the job? Until now, I have used my own (limited) framework, but I want a more complete solution. And, does anybody know if or when Codebook 5 is coming?

Jan Erick:

I have just finished converting Codebook to 5.0 and only encountered minor details to surmount. On the whole it runs superbly. My major irritant were pageframes (which the framework uses extensively) that now get focus in a way that didn't happen in 3.0.
The same question about CDBK 5 was put on the Microsoft VFP newsgroup and although nobody can reply for YAG it appears that the differences between 3 and 5 are so minor fundamentally speaking that CodeBook 3 will still apply to 5.0
