>can anyone tell me if there are books special about developing com objects, servers or dll's? If so, where can i get such a book?

I like "Designing Component-Based Applications" from Microsoft Press. It's mostly VB examples but you can transpose them to VFP. Another valuable book in my library is the "ADO 2.0 Programmer's Reference" from WROX. It has recently been release for ADO 2.1.
