I'm selecting a record set from a remote view with a SQL select into a cursor with a different name than the original view.

I'm noticing some weird effects though, like when I add a record to the remote view it shows up in the cursor. What gives?

Are these things somehow connected until I issue a tableupdate() or something like that?
