I would like to put together a list of the MOST frequently asked questions, since it seems like I see alot of the same questions being asked over and over and over again. (That's a lot of overs!)

Q1. My grid looses its custom settings when I change the underlying record source.
A1. Change the recordsource property to '' BEFORE making any changes to the underlying table. Change it back once you are done changing the underlying table. This includes almost any table manipulation that you do, zapping the table, packing it, re-issueing your select statement, requerying a view, etc.

If you want to add to the list, get rid of the chatty garbage I have in it, and then reply. I'll add 'em all together and we'll make a FAQ file out of it. The idea being that it should only contain the really common things that folk run into, not the more obscure stuff covered seperately in their own faq's.
