Ed,
I was able to find a way around the slow performance when starting my VFP app. I create a small executable with one line of code "QUIT". Then I modified the WIN.INI file, and under [windows] I modified run= to include my small executabe. When the system boots it appears to cache VFPRUN.EXE. I've timed the boot process and there is only a slight additional delay when booting. Most importantly my app that took 15 - 20 seconds to load, now loads in 4 - 5 seconds.
Thanks for your help.
