I don't think it will work. No Offense.

When ever I see a question like these I think to myself, its been asked a hundred times, just look in the FAQ. But 90% of the people to ask these questions probably don't even know the FAQ exists. And its easier to ask the wisdom floating around here, so adding a most I don't think will have any affect. What would though is something like a large green banner with fireworks at the top of the page spinning around saying "Make sure to look in the FAQ or search previous threads before posting a question"

However, this would

a. Drive folks away
b. Diminish conversation and actual help be done
c. You learn alot by observing, even if the question has been asked a thosand times, You may not have needed to know the awnser, but know that you see it, you'll probably use it.
