Knowing SBT, and I have worked on their systems for over 2 years, I bet that the new version if VisionPoint is more of a recompile. SBT wrote several conversion utilities when they converted their Pro series so that the screens in 2.6 were made into object in VFP3 or VFP5 but all of the code behind the screens was still the 2.6 code.

I would recommend you looking at Account Mate. That package started in Visual Foxpro instead of migrating up from the 2.6 world.
