Thanks, it worked. I thought Style had to be 0 for incremental search to work, since there was typing involved (I based my guess on some applications I use regularly which have a text field with a list attached - Quicken being a prime example.) The Foxpro way is a bit weird to use but it works well enough for my purpose.
