Thanks for the reply. I need the toolbar active for use with the formset and a second form called from the formset. I then call another independant form from the menu and at that point I need to disable the toolbar. I cannot do it from the formset itself as I need the tool bar to control the form called from the formset. The command to disable must be placed in the menu or in the independant form, I think. I have tried _screen.activeform and formset1.toolbar with setall("enabled",.F.,"commandbutton") but neither work.

Is there some other means to do this.
