>I don't really think that it's a SP3 bug. I guess what it is, is that I don't really use the maximize button to change the size of the edit window. I just drag the edges to be the size I want it to be. It seems to keep the size OK that way. I seem to remember that was always the way it worked, even in FPW, that a maximized .PRG window (with the maximize button) did not retain it's size. Still seems to work that way in VFP6/SP3. I've gotten so used to doing it that way (dragging) automatically, I just don't think about it anymore!

What I'm used to do is open the .PRG and double-click in the title. It then becomes maximized.
In VFP5 it retains its maximized status when I open the .PRG again.
In VFP6SP3 it doesn't. I'm not sure if it did before SP3.
Anyway, like you say, if I drag the window to its maximum size it retains that size. That a good alternative.
I think I'll have to get used to that new way.
Thanks a lot.
