If your application is going to be in an environment where you know something like WORD 97 will be installed, you can utilize it's spell checker. I've actually got ahold of a "dictionary text file" (essentially a dictionary crammed into a text file) and created a FoxPro dictionary table.

Unfortunately, this doesn't really work that well. While you can use Word to spell check, Word has to be visible, so it doesn't look like an integrated system.
