I am converting a database stored in Oracle and need to merge it into an existing VFP database. In this Oracle database (Razor's Edge) there are graphics (scans) stored within the database. I need to figure out a way to get these graphic files into my VFP database.

I have little experience with Oracle and for internal political reasons will not have access to the database until I actually attempt to export. I assume it is not as simple as an ODBC connection and exporting.

Right now, I assume I will need to write a VFP app to connect through ODBC, open each graphic separately and save individually into VFP.

My access to the Oracle database and time to play with this problem is limited, so any tips on how Oracle stores graphics and how they can be retrieved would be appreciated.
