>>>Is there a way to modify the behavior of VFP 5's Print-Preview Toolbar so that if they choose to PRINT from a PREVIEW (using the toolbar), that the PROMPT window can be displayed BEFORE directing output to the printer? As is, my users can print or preview any report. While in preview, they have access to FoxPro's toolbar but if they choose the PRINT icon on it, they get ALL pages. Suppose they only wanted a certain page out of the middle? Can't do it. They have to use the icon with PRINT MyReport TO PRINTER PROMPT behind it and specify the pages they want there. How come PREVIEW is all or nothing? Any ideas about how to manage this? Ideally, when they click PREVIEW, they should see the report. When thy click PRINT from the preview's toolbar, I'd want the prompt window to appear as with PRINT .... PROMPT.

If the DO click the print icon of the Preview Toolbar, THEN the TO PRINTER PROMPT kicks in and Voila! They have the best of both worlds ... the prompt window comes up allowing them to print pages selectively. Most cool.

Whoops, sorry about the PRINT command, I meant REPORT FORM. Glad it worked out for you. And thanks for letting us know that works in VFP5, too!
