On a particular report, I have a control in the upper right corner of the header band to print the page number. The control expression is.

"page no. "+ alltrim(str(_pageno))

I print in a regular, ariel font.

It works fine.

But, further up in the right hand corner (where I have placed no control whatsoever), my printed page has an upside down version of the string expression discussed above, printed in bold italics.

Furthermore, the 'extra' page no's value is equal the total number of pages less the value of the current page (it counts backwards from the total number of pages).

Anyone else ever seen this strange behavior?
