I use a modal form with 4 buttons Print, Print Menu, Preview, Cancel which accepts the report name as a parameter and depending on the button clicked issues the command:
REPORT FORM &ReportName TO PRINT NOCONSOLE
REPORT FORM &ReportName TO PRINT PROMPT
REPORT FORM &ReportName PREVIEW NOCONSOLE
