From the programers point of view it is the way the programs are constructed. Pro uses classes and is the closest to OOP. But still uses VFP 5.0. The next version is going to use VFP 6.0 with many more OOP structures. One nice feature of the next version is it will be MDI. Report writting is very easy with all the information that is provided.

From a users view the inventory module is the big difference. There are a few other important features but over all just not much different that other accounting packages for the same money.
