Whatever - you may initially create everything in one DBC, and then use the routine created by GenDBC, or GenDBCX (available here in Files section) and split that into two routines - one to generate the tables-only DBC, and the other to generate the views-only DBC. Then if there are changes in the structure of the tables, simply re-run the other routine to recreate the second DBC, and there you are.

You may also create the second DBC as one-per-user, just beware: the GenDbc(X) don't give you the full path to the source tables, so you'll either have to play with them, or with the generated routines.
