>We recently installed Netware 5.0 on a new server, and I'm finding that while running VFP 6.0 SP3 I get intermittently kicked off the server. (My connection gets dropped.) Has anyone else experienced this? When it happens either I can't access a file or my database becomes corrupted. It's very frustrating.

Sorry, I don't have this exp.
My Company is also going to update From Netware 3.12/4.x to 5.0
All the application( data + report + exe ) are in network!
I want to know more about this!

Can VFP 5.0 run in Netware 5.0 or
Can VFP 5.0 + SP3 run in Netware 5.0 sucess!?

Since there is many threads on VFP 6.0 c0000005 error,
VFP 6.0 can't run stardard alone without SP3..

Now, I would suggest some test on VFP 6.0 + SP3 on Netware 5.0,
Could you feed back what is the result on those test?

1) In development-mode Run the program in Local C:\MyProj
2) In Execute Run in Local C:\MyProj
3) In development-mode Run in Network Drive G:\MyProj
4) In Execute Run in Network Drive G:\MyProj

After start the program, can you:
- See all the Network Label Drive in Explorer? (Simply check disconnect or NOT?)
- Open a Network File? ( Freq. Check when will disconnect! )

Do you have exp. on get on Internet in Netware system?
When you start dial-up, the Netware Auto-logout.
When you sucess dial-up and it stay on tray icon, the Netware Auto-Relogin!
During the dial-up process, you're temperately disconnect to Netware Server!

Finally, I would like to ask:
Do you have Install IE 5 in your Netware Station!?
According my company External Hardware Support Company,
he state that IE5 will Auto-Dialup when window start even the option on IE has set to NOT dail-up...
and IE5 seem make hang and need user to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to kill the
attempt dailup process...
Of cos, it will cause disconnection on Netware when attempting dial-up...
So, IE 5 has been banned on sell in our External Hardware Support Company until
the fixed version to come!

Thus, I suggest there may have some internet request on VFP 6.0 or SP3 and
make you disconnect on Netware!
and hope you can trace out WHEN will happen this thing by check the network file
exist or error return for Drive on found!
and you need to check between have dial-up setting and without dail-up setting Station
to see any different on it!

If really VFP 6.0 with SP3 can't work in Netware 5.0 Environment, it will be a very bad news
for Netware EndUser company.. ~_~
