From the dev environment, change your program so that it generates a modify report instead of a report form command.

Then while you are modifying the report, hit the preview and it will highlight the field with problems.

>How do I debug a report? I have a program that generates a cursor and then issues a REPORT FORM command. At the instant the report opens, I get an error message 'operator / operand mismatch'. I have used the debugger and at the time the report is called, all of the variables used in the report have what I expect them to have, and match the report fields. The salient variables are also public.
