>I have inherited SBT Pro 5 in accepting this position I was wondering how Y2K compliant it is in VFP version 5.0, According to microsoft their are problems in vfp with date conversion from DTOC and CTOD. I was wondering if anyone out their had done any major Y2K testing with the SBT software. I know that our software is custom, I was wondering if anyone had any major problems with the boxed package.

SBT pro 5 is good for Y2K, I am still on Pro3 and it's NOT. They still used character fields for dates as of 97. {take a deap breath and relax Steve}
In the upgrade to VFP5 all your date fields are actually date fields. So you are good to go on that.

Sounds like we are in a similar position.
Have you dealt with SBT Tech Suport? That is a joke! They are trained to work with data entry people so when you give them concrete information on a problem you confuse the cr@p out of them. Let alone get an answer. I had to email the president of the company to get something settled. He found out about the lower levels of his company the hard way.
We had payroll out of balance totals and were trying to print W2's.
What a nightmare in SBT concept of keeping quarterly totals as well as YTD ones. They don't have any way to re-calc if you go back to a prior quarter and produce a manual check.
