The Windows login userid can be obtained with the GetUserName() API call; there's code in the FAQ showing how to do this.


The machine owner and organizational information comes from the registry, and need not be the same for Windows andn each application. I believe the detail you're looking for is under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows key hierarchy somewhere.
