Actually, the Datasession class won't get Wayne any further than his forms will.
Wayne, if you are programming the way you should be- you are creating forms that are subclasses of your form class. If so, you can create a method in your form class (called SetEnvironment or something) and call the method from the form.load. This method would do all of the data settings that you would want to be common for your forms that use provate datasessions.
I for one, think the way that it works now is the way that it should. If provate datasessions inherited settings from the current default datasession, it would be more difficult to create a controlled environment for your forms.
