>where online can i find the help files for Visual Fox Pro 6?

The current help file for VFP, FOXHELP.CHM, is incorporated into the MSDN OnLine web site. You can't download the .CHM file AFAIK; you either have it as a part of the VFP6 package, as a part of Visual Studio, and it's also included in the MSDN documentation package (you can get a subscription to it that provides the full MSDN documentation, updated quarterly, through Microsoft; there are several subscription options, ranging from just the MSDN documentation itself, for around $500 annually, through a subscription that covers all of the MS development platforms, operating systems, and Office products (plus most of the public betas) for around $2400 (you can order these subscriptions through distributors like CDW and save some money), and at one time, you could order a single issue of the MSDN documentation for between $100-150 (I don't know if this option is still available or what the current pricing is like.)

The best information on MSDN subscriptions is the MSDN website; msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions should give you all the current details.

You can access most if not all of the MSDN documentation, which included the VFP docs, on-line through the web site; it's nowhere near as convenient as having the docs on hand and on-line.
