I got bit by this problem as well. The problem for me was actually in the Mabry Internet Mail Control (MMAIL32.OCX), which UTNav uses. The latest version of UTNav uses version 5.00.022 of MMAIL32.OCX. Some other program I installed copied and registered version 5.10.001 of MMAIL32.OCX, which unfortunately is NOT backward compatible with version 5.00.022. I was receiving the same UTNav error message. Shame on Mabry for violating one of the cardinal rules of COM versioning!

Simply uninstalling and reinstalling UTNav won't solve the problem, since the installer properly recognizes the more recent registered version of MMAIL32.OCX. Here's how to fix it. After uninstalling UTNav, you need to right-click on MMAIL32.OCX in your system folder and select "Unregister ActiveX control". Then, move this more recent version to a backup folder for safe keeping. Finally, reinstall UTNav and it should copy and register the older version of MMAIL32.OCX.
