Well, Ed, I'd think that the IDE improvements would go hand in hand with this (see my response to Jeff). Unless the version to follow (8 or whatever) is already on the board and being worked on, I don't think it would be terribly likely to come out then. Of course, much of this may depend on the target OS. I did find it interesting that they were demoing a beta on a beta OS. OTOH, the latest issue of the MSDN news stated that Win2K is being heavily utilized at MS itself as the basic OS.
