>SET STUPID QUESTION ON

It's not a stupid question at all. OK, the user needs to select a file with a set name because a conversion program for the file was hard-wired by some bonehead to look for a specific name in a specific directory. So, I need to get the specific file from wherever it's coming from (likely diskette) and plop it into a specific directory. Can't use GETDIR because it confuses the users. Can't use LOCFILE because LOCFILE returns no dialog if the file exists. So far, I'm using GETFILE() and bashing the user over the head with MESSAGEBOX if they choose the wrong file. Oh, and all these files have the same extension.
