We also have the error reading file problem on our system. We're running NT server 4 with netbeui and all the workstations are nt4. Our errorlog table is local and all the 1104's are logged. The problem mainly occured on two ws machines that access the server tables heavily. I changed the nic from a card with a DEC chip to a 3com card. This helped the one changed, but I was wondering what protocol and nics you have, and if you ever solved your problem ? thanks - jack
