I doubt the Long Filename thing but I could be mistaken. You should have an OpenSystemTables in an oApp or oUser component. This see if the table is open using ALIAS(), then open it or move depending on the ALIAS(). Then you could call that at the beignning of your app and whenever you think you've closed the table down.
