Hello Darren,

Sorry for the slow response, but I've not been on the UT for a day or two. I'm no expert in the details of SBT Pro 5 Y2K, and I don't know if anyone is. I do know that they use a mix of stuff. In some cases they still use two character character-type date fields in their own code, depending upon the rule of 50. However, the new dbf structures all use FoxPro 5.0 4 character date-type fields. I don't think you're going to find much consistency at the code level, and their stuff may not even pass tests of this sort. It's my understanding howeve, that Pro 5.0 will pass practical, reality tests concerning the dates.

This code and design variability is pretty much rampant throughout all their products. I'd advise that you set up a series of transactional tests to see how the product works in practice. Please let me know what you find out.

Steve
