I put this.refresh at the end of the Valid, but the control display still goes blank.

Strange, because Wait Windows in the Valid and Lost Focus events show the correct value. Also the table field linked to the the ControlSource shows the correct value. Everything except for the control itself!

I think combo boxes are the most complicated of all the VFP controls!!
