Hi Bonnie,
As I remember it, FPD 2.6 was mainly aimed at dBase users, with a number of commands introduced to vastly improve compatibility with it.
However, there were some other things that were added that were useful. Things I come across in a scan of a document I have include:
1) LIKE and EXCEPT clauses for a number of commands (like APPEND FROM, APPEND FROM ARRAY, COPY STRUCTURE, COPY TO (you get the idea);
2) FDATE()
3) BLANK command
4) FLDLIST()
5) FOR()
6) FTIME()
7) HOME()
8) ID()
9) ISBLANK()
10) KEYMATCH()
11) NORMALIZE()
12) OBJVAR()
13) PCOUNT() - a very important one in my humble opinion
Cheers,
Jim N
>>There's actually a 2.6a for DOS. We never actually upgraded to that one from the 2.6, as we weren't having any problems with 2.6. FPW2.6 was an entirely different animal, we definitely had to go to the 2.6a version there.
