I've had this message come up when I had a 'set filter to ...' and I forgot to put the appropriate 'set filter to' in the unload of the form.

>Well, there weren't any combos on that form. Oddly enough, I deleted the entire grid and recreated it with the same table, fields, etc. and now it works? Go figure. One of the mysteries of life I guess. I hate when that happens because I don't know what it was and if it happens again I don't want to keep re-creating things! Anyway, I read all the replies and I had aliases on all the control sources, there were no combos, etc... pretty much a straight forward grid. Well, anyhow, thank you [all] for the information.
