While there are some 'religious windows crowd', I'd bet a bundle that the vast majority are with you on this one.

That said, I'm not holding my breath waiting for it to be changed. MS doesn't seem to listen to us average folks on things like this. Geez, they don't even seem to listen to Alan Cooper, the current GURU on User Interface DEIGN.
