You can check this one out yourself if you use a DropDown combo and turn event tracking on. You will clearly see combo1.text1.GotFocus fire. This one is a bug and it was reported to MS some time ago by Tamar Granor.

Even though you can see it in the debugger, it is not something that you can access in code.
