In addition to upgrading your VFP6 to SP3, you should ensure that DCOM has been installed properly on the target system; the requirement for DCOM did not go away with the SP3 release. There are entries in the FAQ that describe how to test if DCOM has been installed previously, and what actions to take to install DCOM on the target system if it's not there now.
