I was working on a similar answer to Don about the same time you were. Unfortunately, mine got cut off. I totally agree with you. If converts to VFP don't take advantage of the DBC they have thrown away half of the functionality and benefit of moving to VFP 3.0b. After reading all the exchange between Don and Marc in this thread I think they'd be better off staying with FPD/FPW 2.6. No point in tackling the learning curve for half the prize!
