I've installed it on three NT machines without any difficulty. Since MSDE is basically the SQL 7.0 kernel, I suspect the same equipment requirements apply so you might check to make sure you're compliant. I had loads of trouble when SQL 7.0 first came out trying to load it on an older Cyrix processor. HTH.
