Thanks for the help. I did run across an answer in the newsgroups:
{usual stuff}
lnCount = .ActiveDocument.Shapes.Count
.ActiveDocument.Shapes(lnCount).Select
{continuing on}
Seems to work, always gives me the last one pasted. Do you think this will work reliably?
