I have an input form which is ran in a Top-Level Form and MDIForm is set to True. I don't know if the preceding makes any difference about my question or not; so, I have provided it for completeness. Now, on with the question...

On this form I have a cmdbutton for "Add a Comment". When the user clicks on this button, I need to open a form with, I suppose, an edit box on it, which will allow the user to type in a comment. The user needs to be restricted to adding the comment (not clicking back on the prior form, etc) and then OKing or Canceling his input before being returned to the prior form.

From what I've gathered so far, I think the comment form needs to be modal. But, how is this done? Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Chuck
