I thought there was a problem with the timers not firing if the menu was active. I believe that's changed in VFP6, but I don't know for sure if/when that was fixed. I've never used timers while the menu was active. Anyways, if you store the POPUP() and BAR() value when a form is started, how does a timer have anything to do with the values that you stored at the start of a form???? I must not be understanding what you're trying to do...
