There's a lot in your message: I'm only addressing a bit of it.

For the Add New question. Since you're using the Wizard navigation buttons, you probably need to fill in a property (I don't remember which it is) for what table the buttons operate on.

I'd suggest you start with getting the form working with the textboxes and navigation buttons before adding the listbox. When you do add the listbox, do you want it to navigate through the rv_CaseType records? If so, you should be able to use the Fields rowsourcetype for it.

For the record, usually what a combo is for is for picking a value to put in a field from another (usually) lookup table. So the controlsource would be bound to a field in one cursor, and the rowsource would draw from another table/view.

I don't think this reads too clearly, so don't hesitate to ask for more (better? < s>) explanation.
